Dircode Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Dircode is a mobile application for managing compatible smart locks, gateways, electronic keys, passcodes, cards, fingerprints, and access records. Privacy questions can be sent to info@dircode.ru.
This policy applies to the Dircode iOS and Android applications and to the related server features used by the application.
2. Information processed
Dircode may process account data, information about locks, gateways, and other compatible devices, access data, app settings, notification data, and technical information needed to operate the service.
Depending on the feature used, the application may process an account identifier, email address or phone number, authorization tokens, device names and identifiers, binding data, operation records, and error messages.
For access management, the application may process electronic keys, passcodes, cards, fingerprints, and related service data. The phone biometric templates are not transferred to the application.
For notifications and support, the application may process a push notification token, device model, app version, and OS version.
3. Device permissions
Bluetooth is used to discover, add, configure, and control nearby locks, gateways, remotes, keypads, and other compatible devices.
Location permission is used only to the extent Android or iOS requires it to discover nearby Bluetooth devices. Dircode does not use this permission for background location tracking.
Local network access on iOS is used to provision gateways on the current Wi-Fi network. Internet access is used for sign-in, device synchronization, remote control, updates, notifications, and support.
Contacts are used only when you choose to import an access recipient or phone number. The application does not upload your full address book without a user-selected action.
Face ID, Touch ID, or system biometrics are used only locally to verify your identity when app protection is enabled. Dircode does not receive or store the phone biometric templates.
Notifications are used for lock event messages, alerts, and access status. NFC on Android is used for supported card and compatible-device scenarios.
4. How information is used
Information is used to sign in, perform security verification, show device lists, add and configure locks and gateways, lock and unlock devices, manage access, view event logs, control devices remotely through a gateway, update firmware, and send notifications.
Information is also used to save user settings, diagnose errors, prevent unauthorized access, and respond to support requests.
5. Sharing with third parties
Dircode does not sell personal data. Information may be shared with infrastructure providers, notification delivery services, and other services needed to operate the app and comply with the law.
Some app features may rely on external services and network infrastructure to operate device management and notifications.
6. Storage and deletion
Local settings and application data may remain on the device until you remove the application or clear application data.
You may stop using the service and delete your account by contacting info@dircode.ru. After account deletion or service termination, related data will be deleted or retained only as required to operate the service and comply with the law.
7. Security
The application uses standard platform protection mechanisms and the network connections needed to operate the service.
You are responsible for protecting your password, verification codes, electronic keys, passcodes, cards, and administrator rights.
8. Your rights
You may request information about your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of data, and you may revoke device permissions. Some application features may become unavailable after revoking Bluetooth, network, contacts, notifications, or biometric permissions.
Send privacy requests to info@dircode.ru.
9. Children
Dircode is not directed to children as an independent account registration or device administration service. Children may use access credentials, such as an eKey, passcode, card, or fingerprint, when such access is created and controlled by a parent, legal guardian, property owner, or authorized administrator.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when application features, app store requirements, or legal requirements change. The current version is published on this page.
